Senior Product developer
Our material- and production expert
Work tasks:
- The main tasks will be related to choosing, arming and production of elastomer for shoes and soles
- Project management
- Quality assurance of existing technology
- Establish contact and quality assure new suppliers of elastomers and cord to soles
- Secure interaction between elastomer producer, production and development
- Improve production methods through cooperation with sub-suppliers
- Development of new products and product platforms
- Scientific testing of products and product properties together with relevant documentation
- Travelling must be counted on for periods
Qualifications/Education:
- Bsc/Msc within the following topics; Elastomer, technical design, Industrial design, product development
- Lower education can be considered if long relevant experience can be documented
- Good understanding of and experience with elastomers/rubber
- Experience with product development (from idea to finished products)
- Experience with projects and project management
- Experience with shoe production or other relevant elastomer production like tire production etc will be an advantage.
- Fluent English and preferable Norwegian speaking/writing
- German, French and Spanish knowledge will be an advantage.
- Some experience with horses will be an advantage
